Assessment of Reading
All assignments are listed in the order they were assigned to me.
All pictures were taken by me on a trip to Chicago, Illinois.

My work is presented here only as a guide and is not intended for you to copy or use as your own. The same goes for pictures.
Quote Response
This assignment asked us to respond to the quote, “After all, in the end, the problem is less the idea of testing itself, but how we design them, apply them, and make use of their data.” This was from one of the weekly readings.
Feedback to Student Teacher
This assignment asked us to respond to a student teacher concerning her/his most recent lesson. We were to give advice for incorporating more formative assessments.
Informative Presentation
This assignment asked us to create a presentation that gave an overview of assessments I use in the classroom and assessments I would like to use in the classroom. I used a PowerPoint Presentation template from Slides Carnival.
Create and Evaluate an Effective Assessment
This assignment asked us to create and evaluate an effective assessment, or to evaluate an assessment we already used. For this, I evaluated an idea for an assessment—I didn’t technically create it. However, I had enough of an idea about the assessment and how I would use it that I felt comfortable completing the assignment based on the nebulous of an idea.
Evaluation of Instruction
This assignment asked us to evaluate our school’s reading instruction according to South Carolina’s Read to Succeed plan and goals.
Assessment Infographic
The very last assignment I completed! The job was to create an infographic that explained assessment basics to parents and first year teachers. I used Venngage to create it.
